DN300 Single Station Hydraulic Butterfly Valve Test Bench

Yufeng valve Machinery factory DN300 Single Station Hydraulic Butterfly Valve Test Bench is a single station design specially customized for butterfly valves and knife gate valves, offering easy operation and reliable testing for factory quality control. It is equipped with multiple high-precision pressure gauges, realizing precise pressure regulation and stable long time pressure holding for shell strength and sealing performance tests.

The integrated mature hydraulic system delivers a maximum clamping force of 100 tons, ensuring no displacement or pressure leakage during testing, making it ideal for large-size knife gate and butterfly valves. The adjustable pressure range covers DN50 to DN300, with maximum test pressure and clamping stroke customizable to match various valve specifications. It complies with GB/T 13927 and API 598 international inspection standards and is widely used for factory outgoing QC inspection of industrial butterfly valves and knife gate valves.

DN300 Single Station Hydraulic Butterfly Valve Test Bench, is specifically designed to test flanged end or wafer type butterfly valves, as well as knife gate valves with flange connections.

The clamping method uses hydraulic jaws to clamp the opposite faces of the valve flanges, with adjustable clamping force and minimal external interference. Sealing between the valve and blind plate is achieved through end-face O-ring or gasket sealing, and a front observation window allows operators to clearly locate any leakage points during testing. Test media include high-pressure water for hydrostatic and sealing tests, and low-pressure gas (air or nitrogen at 4 to 7 bar) for pneumatic tightness tests. The bench completes three main test items: 1.5 times rated pressure hydrostatic shell strength test, 1.1 times rated pressure high-pressure water seal test, and 4 to 7 bar low-pressure air seal test. The test range for each workstation covers DN50 to DN300 (both wafer and flanged types). The valve face-to-face structural length ranges from 49 to 270 mm, flange diameter from 200 to 520 mm, and jaw disc spacing is adjustable from 200 to 550 mm. The clamping cylinder has a diameter of 140 mm with a piston rod of 70 mm, and the maximum clamping force is 100 tons. Pressure ratings can be customized from PN16 up to PN420 per customer requirements.

In summary, this DN300 Single Station Hydraulic Butterfly Valve Test Bench features a compact single-workstation design that is cost-effective and ideal for valve manufacturers and testing facilities with moderate throughput. It supports the most commonly used industrial diameters, offers powerful hydraulic clamping with zero displacement, precise pressure regulation, and long-term stability. It also meets GB/T 13927 and API 589 standards and is suitable for valve manufacturing plants, district heating networks, oil and gas pipelines, mining and metallurgy, MRO workshops, incoming quality control for large end-users, and third-party inspection agencies.

Features

Single‑Workstation Design: Compact and cost‑effective, ideal for valve manufacturers and testing facilities with moderate throughput requirements, offering easy operation and quick valve loading/unloading.

Wide Test Coverage: Supports flange‑connected butterfly valves (wafer or lug type) and knife gate valves in sizes from DN50 to DN300, covering the most commonly used industrial diameters.

Powerful Hydraulic Clamping: Equipped with a φ140mm clamping cylinder and φ70mm piston rod, delivering a maximum clamping force of 100 tons, ensuring zero displacement and leak‑free sealing even under the highest test pressures.

Precise Pressure Regulation & Holding: Fitted with high‑precision pressure gauges, enabling accurate control and long‑term stable pressure maintenance for both shell strength (1.5× rated) and sealing (1.1× rated water & 4–7 bar air) tests.

Customizable Pressure Ratings: Pressure classes can be tailored from PN16 up to PN420 per customer requirements, with maximum test pressures reaching 15.0 MPa for smaller sizes.

Observation Window: End‑face sealing with a front viewing port allows operators to clearly identify any leakage points during the test.
