FAQ

1. What butterfly valve types can this test bench handle?

It handles wafer type, lug type, and flange type butterfly valves, including both concentric and eccentric designs, from DN250 to DN1200.

2. How does the dual station design improve efficiency?

The two stations can work independently or simultaneously. You can test two different valve sizes at the same time, or use one station while loading the other, eliminating downtime and greatly improving batch inspection throughput.

3. What sealing method does it use?

It uses interchangeable sealing tooling specifically designed for butterfly valve end faces. Different tooling sets can be quickly swapped to match various valve specifications and end face types.

4. What test items can it perform?

It performs shell strength test at 1.5 times nominal pressure and high pressure water seal test at 1.1 times nominal pressure per GB/T 13927 2022, plus bidirectional sealing performance testing with long term pressure holding.

5. What test media does it support?

It supports water for hydrostatic shell and seal tests, and low pressure air or nitrogen for pneumatic tightness tests.

6. What safety features are included?

The hydraulic self locking safety protection device prevents the clamping system from loosening while the valve cavity is pressurized, ensuring operator safety.

7. What are the machine dimensions and weight?

Dimensions are 4.5 by 1.4 by 1.7 meters, weight is 10 tons, and power consumption is 13 kilowatts.

8. What standards does this machine comply with?

It complies with GB/T 13927 2022 and API 598. It can also be configured for other international standards upon request.

9. Can it handle both concentric and eccentric butterfly valves?

Yes, the universal design and interchangeable sealing tooling accommodate both concentric and eccentric butterfly valves across the full DN250 to DN1200 range.

10. What information do you need for a quotation?

Please provide butterfly valve type (wafer/lug/flange), diameter in DN, pressure rating in PN or Class, end face type, and whether you need any optional features like PLC control or data acquisition.
