Ningbo Dongding Valve Co Ltd is a well established valve manufacturer dedicated to producing high quality industrial valves. To maintain their reputation in the market, they require rigorous factory inspections and highly reliable testing equipment for various types of valves, including gate valves, ball valves, globe valves, and butterfly valves.
The Challenge
The client faced several challenges in their daily quality control process. They needed to test a wide range of valves with different diameters and types. Traditional simple test benches often suffered from unstable pressure, misjudgment of leaks, and rusty pipelines. Furthermore, general testing equipment usually took up too much space and lacked the versatility to adapt to different valve structures, slowing down their batch testing and repair inspection processes.
Our Solution
To solve these pain points, we provided a customized combination of three specialized testing machines over our years of cooperation.
First, we supplied the Horizontal Hydraulic Claw Type Valve Test Bench. This equipment is specifically designed for medium caliber flanged valves up to DN300, including gate valves, ball valves, and globe valves. It relies on a ring embrace hydraulic clamping structure to precisely complete shell strength testing and seat sealing pressure maintenance leak detection. It strictly follows GB/T13927 and API598 standards and supports water and gas dual media testing with automatic pressure holding and shutdown functions. The uniform clamping ensures the valve body is not damaged. The precision measurement and control guarantee pressure stability. It is equipped with a circulating anti rust water tank, which is water saving and durable, completely eliminating the issues of pressure fluctuations, leak misjudgments, and pipeline corrosion found in simple test benches.
Second, we provided the YFJX-D Sleeve Type Hydraulic Butterfly Valve Test Bench. Manufactured strictly under the ISO9001 quality management system, it fully complies with GB/T13927-2022, GB/T26480-2011, and API598 standards. This machine integrates hydraulics, mechanics, electricals, and medium storage circulation. It features a reasonable structure, complete functions, stable performance, and a high degree of automation. It is perfectly suited for testing the sealing and strength performance of straight flanged or wafer type butterfly valves with nominal diameters from DN50 to 600mm.
Third, for smaller and medium sized valves, we supplied our Horizontal Axial Pushing Hydraulic Valve Test Bench. It uses an adjustable opening structure to adapt to gate valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, and other straight through valves within DN300. It is capable of shell strength testing and seat sealing pressure maintenance leak detection, complying with GB/T13927-2022 and API598. It features a pressure holding system, pressure gauges, water and gas dual media testing capabilities, and a self locking safety protection. It perfectly solves the pain points of large footprint and poor adaptability of universal equipment, making it highly suitable for daily batch quality inspections and repair re inspections.
The Cooperation Process
Our cooperation began in March 2020 when the client purchased the DN300 Horizontal Hydraulic Claw Test Bench and the DN600 YFJX-D Butterfly Valve Test Bench to upgrade their production line. As their business grew and their testing requirements became more diverse, they turned to us again recently to purchase the H300 Horizontal Axial Pushing Valve Test Bench. We provided comprehensive technical support, ensuring each machine was perfectly matched to their specific testing scenarios and factory layout.
